I love and follow Jesus. I strive for this love to permeate all that I do. After all it was Jesus who established the Golden Rule, saying "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." This is the guiding principle of my practice.
I won't be pushy with my faith, but spirituality and Jesus will come up in conversations.
I spent most of my formative years outside America, immersed in other cultures and languages in Asia and Europe. I feel comfortable with people who aren't white, christian, capitalist, or english-speaking. I enjoy all kinds of foods and traveling experiences. I specifically incorporated experiences in El Salvador, Kazakhstan, India, Afghanistan, and Pakistan into my medical training. There are many valuable things outside America and its medical culture, and I want to understand as much as I can.
Giving birth at home was an incredibly empowering experience for me. Read more about it here.
